Addiction is a disease, and it should be treated as so. Please educate yourselves before you even dare begin any other narrative like the ones, I saw in one of your firms advertised like the term alienation. In the challenging times we are living today that are all statistically related to the family court system, you all together tried to create a narrative that could have jeopardized what I have fought so hard to become for my son and I am so proud of after 14 years.    On December 15th, 2021, not even 90days after my son's father had passed. Michael Calabrese on behalf of his client my son's paternal grandmother put in a petition for grandparent visitation. The petition was not only filled with absolute lies and out-of-line requests. The petition was requesting more parenting time than her son had and would have disrupted his whole life with any other family member or friend. The top oversight throughout the entire case by all attorneys involved was the date given for her claim on unreasonable denial of visitation, would have been when my son's father was still alive, and any issues would have fell on him to petition. Michael Calabrese also alleged that my son was declining in mental health and not because he had just lost his father but because he could not see his grandmother. Not only was this a total lie but he went further to say it was an emergency, at the first court appearance. He would continue to lie on documents about academics as the case progressed and further emphasizing that he had proof when he motioned for trial. His disregard towards me was awful, uncomfortable, disrespectful, and unprofessional.
    I had done my original 2014 case pro se and it conclude after 2 months with both parties' requests met. I was unfamiliar with a third-party petition, and decided the best choice was to acquire an attorney. Even though I knew I could barely afford it, I could not risk it. I was referred to Henry by another attorney and after the research I had found on WGN Radio, where Henry Kass had done an interview about family law, I decided to set an appointment with him. He agreed to take my case in March 2022. From the beginning I told Henry I wanted a request for opposing to pay given the lies and repeated this request over and over during the duration of the entire case. I also told him that I wanted him to represent me. After the initial court appearance with Henry, one email, one phone call, and one in person appointment. I would not hear from Henry Kass officially again until the case had concluded and that was a phone call and two emails that I will discuss further down. Even though at the meeting when I initially met Brad, Henry assured me that Brad was just assisting not managing case alone. In this same meeting Henry also shared how Michael Calabrese had reached out via phone call to share even more lies about me. When Henry asked about the allegations Calabrese stated how he had no evidence but that it would present itself at trial in my deposition. I pleaded with my attorneys to do something given the fact that she had just attended a sports event and was invited to a school parade. I further explained to them that given her sudden change in character and flat out lies that I was going to do only what my son wanted and nothing else. My son wanted nothing to do with her given the lies she was stating regarding him and other issues prior to her petition. No action was taken the case continued. I was asked at least every month to settle and refused it every time but was still charged for preparing declined letters and multiple reviews of the same information and entering of it. Brad shared frustrations on why I should settle in fear of the unknown of what could happen while Henry's initial consultation and in person meeting said it was an open shut case given the no evidence so these types of situations where I would feel frustrated and alone given the fact that I had paid them based on their qualifications and they were not being met but I was still paying. After the case concluded, I would come to find out I had also been charged for lawyers researching topics they should have been more than qualified in based on their advertisement. and one lawyer supervising another lawyer. I would write emails, but nothing was done. On top of all that during the duration of the case I had Calabrese's client the grandmother harassing me and my son at our home and school. Before she even petitioned the case, she began withholding my son's personal memorabilia items that belonged to his father and all money that his father had for his son. Again, I wrote emails and nothing.
